Why should I re-rent my instrument instead of returning it and getting a different one? Consistent practicing (even when not in school) is the most important part of playing an instrument.  If you return your rental instrument and join the waiting list for a different instrument, your student will be waiting for instruments to become available again ( which on some instruments can be weeks). Because of this, Wright Music includes summer months free of charge to clients that extend their contracts for the next school year.  That way students can practice all summer long - for free!  

I am unsure if my student will be playing an instrument next year.  We would first suggest reaching out to your student’s music teacher or school to find out if your student has already been enrolled in music classes for next year.  If you are still unsure if you will need an instrument for next year, we would suggest returning your instrument at the end of the rental contract.  If you end up needing an instrument again, we can assist you in starting a new contract.

What if I renew my contract and then my student decides they will not be playing in the Fall?  Wright Music offers a 30-day return policy from the start of school.  If your student decides to not continue with music, you can return your rental instrument to us and we will refund your rental fee ( less a summer rental fee).

My student loves playing their instrument, can I buy it?  We are thrilled your student has been so successful!  We do not sell our rental instruments but do offer our current rental clients discounts towards buying their own new instruments.  If you would like to learn more about instrument ownership, please reach out to us!

My instrument is not working properly or needs service.  Instrument servicing is something that is included with your rental contract year round.  You can re-rent your current instrument and make arrangements to drop it off for servicing.

What if my student needs a new instrument size?  Exchanging your instrument size is something that is free to do at any point during your rental contract.  If you think your student needs a new size, you can still re-rent your current instrument and exchange it for a new size at a later date.

My student was unhappy with their rental and wanted to see if there is a different instrument?  Re-rental discounts can only be applied to instruments currently in your possession. If your student is unhappy with their rental instrument and would like the opportunity to pick out a different one, please return your instrument by June 25th and we can put you on the waiting list for when rentals become available again.

My student might be taking a different instrument next year. Re-rental discounts can only be applied to instruments currently in your possession.  If your student is going to be switching instruments next year, we would suggest returning your instrument at the end of the rental contract, June 25th.  You can be added to a wait list for when rentals become available again.
