STUDENT INSTRUMENT RENTALS
One of the most important factors for success with young musicians is access to quality instruments. We pride ourselves on our fleet of student rental instruments. Maintained by our expert repair team, these instruments are just what your young student needs to start their musical journey!
Repairs are included!
All our rental instruments include our Damage Protection Plan for no additional fee. This repair plan covers many different “oops!” situations or just some standard maintenance all instruments require from time to time. For specific information about what is covered, ask a staff member or check out our rental terms.
We are here to support parents too!
We know for many of our young musicians this is an equally new frontier for their families. Our staff is here to help parents and guardians learn too! Bring us your questions about instrument care, practice habits, or “what the heck is a euphonium?”. We have heard it all - so let us have it!
Why rent?
For almost all students, renting your first instrument is the best choice. Like most skills, mastering a musical instrument takes time and practice. Some students find their first choice instrument doesn’t come as easily as they hoped and need the chance to try a different instrument. A good quality rental gives a student the opportunity to give music their best shot without the pressure that comes with owning an instrument.

New York’s yearly solos and ensembles competition is one of the most talked about things in our shop. Teachers, parents, and students have come to rely on Wright Music services to help participants have a successful experience.

We stock a number of popular and hard to find NYSSMA solos. Our staff can check if we have your specific solo or if we can order it for you.

We like to have a little fun here - and there is nothing more fun than ukulele! Relatively easy to learn, and equally easy to transport, ukuleles have become one of Wright Music’s hottest selling instruments!
